Best Free Typing Course Available
Sometimes I list a free resource because it’s better than other similar resources like it, but this is an amazing value even among pricier programs. I haven’t actually worked through the lessons since I just discovered it, but it looks better than many programs I have paid good money for. How they make money or support their website is a mystery to me, although I have already been offered an official certificate for $5.

Typing Web claims to be 100% free, and there is nothing to download. You will need to register and give up your email address, but you should be used to that by now. I guess email capture is just good business, right? Their website design is awesome and very easy to navigate.
A high school curriculum without typing is incomplete even with out an entrepreneur emphasis. I do have a friend with a doctorate in history that can hunt and peck as fast as I can touch type but he is far from average. Think of all the time saved over a lifetime when you can type as fast as you can talk. Typing Web emphasizes the increase in income for those that can type faster than the average bear. It can be an ideal skill to teach the young woman that isn’t sure what she wants to do after high school. It can’t hurt!

I was require to type 20 words per minute. I believe this course is the best
